JACKSON - As a bright black youngster who grew up in Mount Olive during the segregated 1970s, Ralph Eubanks gained a key firsthand knowledge of Mississippi's troubled past.
Eubanks, who went on to become an honor graduate of the University of Mississippi, is now director of publications for the Library of Congress in Washington.
