Although Greenwood Leflore Hospital continues to lose money, it is starting to show signs that its short-term strategy of paring down services to what patient volumes will support is working.
In March, according to figures released Tuesday, the hospital posted an operating loss of $715,000, its best monthly showing in 2½ years.
