Finnegan will begin again as utility CEO

Brian Finnegan is coming back to Greenwood Utilities.

Finnegan will take over Dec. 1 as CEO, the publicly owned utility’s commission an-nounced Thursday.

He will be replacing Tony Sinclair, the man who replaced Finnegan in 2015 when Finnegan left Greenwood to become general manager of Canton Municipal Utilities.

His position is partially funded by a two-year grant from Report for America, a national nonprofit. Generous supporters in the community donated the matching funds in the first year. We are now raising funds for Year 2.
