More than 1,500 fans from far and near enjoyed the Mississippi Blues Festival at the Leflore County Civic Center on Saturday, Civic Center Director Andrew McQueen said.
Listeners came from Chicago, Houston, Atlanta and elsewhere. One man from Alabama even camped out in the parking lot Friday before the show, McQueen said.
