Reopening a rubbish field on U.S. 49 could save Leflore County money, Chancery Clerk Sam Abraham told supervisors Monday.
A rubbish field is used to divert trash such as tree limbs and debris. The U.S. 49 site has been closed for nine years to increase volume at the landfill, Abraham said.
