COILA — A man who barricaded himself into his home and took a woman hostage this morning has surrendered, Carroll County Sheriff Jerry Carver said.
Roy Kester Gordon, 63, gave up around 9:15 a.m., Carver said.
Gordon was taken to Greenwood Leflore Hospital for an examination, Carver said, adding that Gordon had “health issues.”
