The Itta Bena Police Department has charged a store’s operator with five counts of possessing illegal gambling machines.
Hassan Alshohatee, 56, County Road 514, Itta Bena, who operates Koster’s convenience store at 506 Basket St., was arrested Thursday morning and released on $500 bond, Police Chief Robert Kirklin said.
