A Greenwood teenager has been charged with sexual battery against a 14-year-old girl.
William Devonia Whitehead, 18, 801 Cypress Ave., Apt. 11H, was arrested last Saturday. He was initially charged with statutory rape, but that charge was later reduced to sexual battery, Greenwood Police Chief Henry Purnell said.
