Leflore County’s jobless rate improved to 12.9 percent in March, according to figures released today by the Mississippi Department of Employment Security.
The unemployment rate, while better than February’s rate of 14.7 percent, was still higher, however, than the same month a year ago, when the rate was 12.3 percent.
