The City of Greenwood has received a $35,000 Urban Youth Grant.
The grant, which helps to provide jobs for city youngsters during the summer, is used to beautify entrances into the city.
Mayor Carolyn McAdams spoke about the grant during her remarks at the beginning of Thursday’s meeting of the Greenwood City Council.
