JACKSON - Dewayne Thomas has the support of the Mississippi Democratic Party if he remains a candidate in the Hinds District 29 Senate race, a party official says.
"Dewayne will have the money he needs to be competitive. I'll work day and night to see to that personally," said Rickey Cole, state Democratic Party chairman.
