JACKSON - State Treasurer Tate Reeves says Mississippi's bond debt is within limits and the state's credit rating remains high.
Reeves, who on Thursday made his first presentation to lawmakers since taking office last week, said the state owes $3.1 billion in bond debt. The state's bond debt limit is $8.1 billion, Reeves said.
