APAC ups amount it expects to pay Carroll schools

Smith named Carroll jail warden again

CARROLLTON — Carroll County Sheriff Jerry Carver has moved Arthur Smith back to the position of warden of the Carroll-Montgomery Regional Correctional Facility.

The announcement was made Monday after a closed-door meeting with the Carroll County Board of Supervisors.

CARROLLTON — Arthur Smith has been named deputy warden of the Carroll-Montgomery Regional Correctional Facility, Carroll County Sheriff Jerry Carver says.

Smith has been the warden at the facility since 2008 and has been the subject of controversy within the county’s Board of Supervisors.
