LEXINGTON — A choked-up Odessa Williams wound up the first day of testimony in the Holmes County trial of two Carroll County deputies Tuesday.

Williams claims Carroll Deputies John Beck and Curtis Bela Alford shot at him as he tried to get away from them. He said Tuesday he thought they were trying to kill him.
