The Greenwood City Council on Tuesday approved a $3,000 donation to the Greenwood Community Recreation Center that will assist with the facility’s heating costs during the winter months.
The center’s director, Larry “Kite” Johnson, requested the funds from the council in September, but the decision was tabled.
