Directors of the Mid-Delta Empowerment Zone have approved their operation and program budgets for the upcoming year.
Budgeted operating expenses are $675,500 - more than $300,000 less than this year's budget.
"It looks to be a promising year," said John Greer, director, at a monthly meeting Thursday.
