The City of Itta Bena plans to annex the Shell station on the corner of Sunflower Road and U.S. 82 into its city limits.
Mayor Thelma Collins said adding the gas station will help bring revenue to the city, which is more than $100,000 in debt.
"It's all alone out there," Collins said. "We want to include that one business."
