Richard Langan "Dick" Clarke Jr. was a traditional cotton man of the Deep South.
"Dick was in a cotton row all his life, ever since he got back from the service," said Greenwood cotton merchant Emmett Chassaniol.
Mr. Clarke, 80, of Greenwood, died Saturday, March 12, 2005 of cancer at his residence in Greenwood.
