Prep Tennis: Lady Mustangs win North State tennis title

The Pillow Academy girls tennis team claimed the North State 5A title by winning three event championships Tuesday at Northeast Park Tennis Center in Meridian.
Pillow will compete in the State 5A Tournament April 24 at the Ridgeland Tennis Center.

Prep Roundup: Softball seasons end for Elzy, GHS and LC

The girls fast-pitch softball seasons came to a halt for Amanda Elzy, Leflore County and Greenwood High School Monday.
Also, the baseball season for the Bulldogs came to an end as they dropped a 14-0 decision at Region 3-4A foe Louisville High School. Greenwood ends its season at 2-8 overall and 0-8 in region play.
