A former assistant superintendent in the Greenwood School District who was fired in October is contesting her termination.
Mary Brown, who until Oct. 27 had served as assistant superintendent for curriculum, appeared with her attorney for the first day of a formal hearing on her termination Friday at the district’s central office.
