In the past, the city of Greenwood has tried to use everything from sound cannons to firing pistols with blanks in an attempt to drive the red-winged blackbirds out of town.
Now, Greenwood Mayor Carolyn McAdams says the best thing to do is just leave them alone until the pesky birds fly away on their own accord.
