Lady Rebels take down PA in double overtime

The Carroll Academy girls finally broke through againstPillow Academy.

It took two overtime periods to do it, but the Lady Rebels beat PA for the first time this season in four tries.

Sydney Claire Liddell had 15 points and 18 rebounds as the CA girls won 53-46 in double overtime here Friday in the Kirk Academy Tournament.

Mary Hayden Rodgers led three players in double figures as the Pillow Academy girls basketball team cruised to a 48-31 win over Starkville Academy Friday night at PA.

Rodgers, a senior, scored a team-high 13 points and pulled down seven rebounds and recorded four steals.
