Mississippi Valley State has struggled to hold leads late in games all season.
Because of that, Valley has lost four of its last five and is tied for eighth in the SWAC at 3-6.
“The biggest thing for us is playing with more consistency and finishing out games,” MVSU coach Andre Payne said.
