Tim Kalich, editor of the Greenwood Commonwealth, presents the Commonwealth's annual Community Service Award to Dr. Alfio Rausa, the state's District III health officer, at a Golden Age nursing home board meeting Thursday. In addition to many other civic activities, Rausa has been involved with the nursing home for more than 30 years.
