Volunteer firemen, storm spotters, American Red Cross workers and others with the Leflore County Citizens Corps were honored at an appreciation dinner at the Leflore County Civic Center Friday.
"In the worst of situations, the best of people come out, and we consider y'all the best of citizens," said Chancery Clerk Sam Abraham.
