Anyone who grows up in Ruleville is going to know who Fannie Lou Hamer is, says Jasmine Harvey, a second-year student with the Sunflower County Freedom Project.
But the Ruleville Central High School sophomore never knew the civil rights icon as deeply as she does now that she stars as Hamer in "Five Feet, Four Inches Forward."
