Two Saturday evening Jet Ski accidents sent four friends floating through the growing dark down the Yazoo River as authorities pursued them on a mad dash that ended in Phillipston.

None of the boaters was injured.

Suspect in shooting arrested

Leflore County sheriff's deputies have arrested a Sidon man suspected in a nightclub shooting that injured two.

Robert A. Harris, 25, of 108 School Street is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and was still in jail Saturday night. With Sheriff Ricky Banks out of town, details of Harris' arrest were not available Saturday.
