JACKSON - Elected state officials, judges and prosecutors would get 10 percent raises under a bill passed Tuesday by the state Senate.
The bill, which now moves to the House, also would remove from the law the salaries of about 60 appointive officials. Those salaries would now be set by the State Personnel Board.
