JACKSON - Legislation to require students this fall in Mississippi universities and junior colleges to be vaccinated against meningitis was passed by the state Senate.
Sen. Terry Burton, R-Newton, said the bill, which now goes to the House, would make vaccinations optional for hepatitis A and B.
