Beginning Friday and continuing through Labor Day weekend, local law enforcement agencies will combine their efforts to crack down on drunk driving.
"It's a nationwide blitz period mainly concentrated around Labor Day," said Greenwood DUI officer Rob Banks.
The annual campaign is sponsored by the federal government.
