The owner of this house at 1010 Mississippi Ave. died in a early-morning fire today. Gwendolyn Garner, 68, was pronounced dead at the scene by Leflore County Coroner Debra Sanders. Greenwood Fire Chief Larry Griggs said the department received the call on the fire at 12:47 a.m.
