A Greenwood man was found dead by family members in a field off U.S. 82 Tuesday, four days after he fled the scene of a traffic stop, according to authorities.
The cause of death for Lamarcus Hemphill, 34, was not immediately known, although authorities said they have been able to rule out gunfire.
