Pillow Academy’s Lillie Brooks Flautt (4) and Britton Staples (27) go up to block a shot during Tuesday night’s match against Winston Academy. The Lady Mustangs pulled out a 3-1 win. They won the first two sets 25-17 and 25-10, but Winston won the third set 25-22. Pillow took the fourth set 25-22 to improve to 10-11 overall. Pillow will play at 5 p.m. Monday against the Madison St. Joe-Starkville winner in the MAIS Division II State Tournament at Mississippi College in Clinton. If Pillow wins, it advances to the championship match at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
