The Carroll Academy boys junior varsity team placed second at the District 2-2A Tournament held at Deer Creek School Thursday and Friday. Members of the team are, from left, Bryce Rayburn, Landon Hurst, Jack James, Kaiden Rayburn, John Lane Beck, Jaxin Jordan, Brayden Bowlin, Landon Acy, Henry Gillespie, Brighton Kelly, Cole Beckwith, Brycen Sprayberry, Holden Acy, Braylen Lance and Shawn Clanton. The head coach is Jason Kelly.
The Carroll Academy junior varsity boys team finished second at the District 2-2A Tournament at Deer Creek School in Arcola, which concluded Friday.
Central Holmes beat the Rebels 49-36 in the championship game Friday, as the Trojans led 12-4 after the first period, 25-9 at the half and 40-18 after the third frame.
