Prep Soccer: Pillow sends seniors out with 5-0 victory

Pillow Academy’s boys soccer team closed out its season with a 5-0 win over visiting Kirk Academy Wednesday night at Chazzy Moor Field.
Senior Flavio Barrera led the way for the Mustangs (3-9) with four goals. Fellow senior Danny Lara had the fifth goal.

North 4A Tournament: Lady Mustangs in finals

Pillow Academy took total control in the third period, and left Madison St. Joseph in its wake.
The Lady Mustangs scored the first 15 points of the second half and cruised to a 74-39 win in the North 4A Tournament semifinals Friday afternoon at Pillow’s Stribling Gymnasium.

Lions come up short in North 2A Tournament

The Delta Streets Academy boys were eliminated from the North 2A Tournament with a 34-29 loss to Discovery Christian School Wednesday night at Canton Academy.
The Lions wrapped up their season at 15-11.
