Aiden Valente improved to 5-0 on the mound in leading Pillow Academy to a 7-3 win over visiting Winston Academy Tuesday night at Louis Coleman Field.
Valente, a senior who has signed with East Mississippi Community College, went 4 2/3 innings, yielding one run on two hits, walking two and fanning five.
