Pillow Academy first-year coach T.J. Davis has his fingers crossed his young team turns it up a notch when game time rolls around Friday.
The Mustangs open their 2025 season at 7 p.m. at Winston Academy in Louisville.

Prep Volleyball: Pillow falters in 3-2 setback to Knights

Pillow Academy’s girls volleyball team raced out to a 2-0 set lead over visiting West Memphis Christian School Thursday at Scott Gymnasium, but the Lady Black Knights rallied for a 3-2 victory.
Pillow won the first two sets by scores of 25-23 and 25-22. However, West Memphis took the next three sets 25-20, 25-13 and 15-12.
