MDCC loses in opener

Mississippi Delta Community College opened its 2025 football season with a 33-0 loss to visiting Jones Community College Thursday night in Moorhead. Jones outgained MDCC 464-30 in total yardage and 20-3 in first downs. The Bobcats led 23-0 at the half. Former Elzy standout Jevarion Glover was 3-of-6 passing for 40 yards for Jones.
