Carroll sneaks past Regents, 60-58

Carroll Academy posted a 60-58 win over visiting Regents of Oxford Friday night at Gordon Field.
The Rebels (3-1) led 7-0 after the first, 34-24 at the half and 46-38 after the third.
Collin Hurst had 168 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 16 carries. He also completed 7-of-11 passes for 200 yards and three scores.

Leflore Co. cruises past South Delta

Leflore County High School got back on the winning track as the Tigers knocked off South Delta High School 42-0 Friday night in Rolling Fork.
Leflore (2-1) led 8-0 after the first period, 20-0 at the half and 34-0 after the third quarter.

Bulldogs take down GHS

Greenwood High School built an early lead Friday night against Greenville High School and never looked back, with Cary Weaver earning his first win as interim head coach.
The Bulldogs claimed a 37-6 home victory with big outings from Tavares Osborne and Jawuan Gideon.
