Board approves payment to architects for schematics on new high school

The Greenwood Leflore Consolidated School Board has approved a $616,000 payment for schematic work done by the architectural firm in charge of building the new high school in Leflore County.
The outstanding payment to M3A Architecture was approved 4-1 Thursday during a special called meeting.

His position is partially funded by a two-year grant from Report for America, a national nonprofit. Generous supporters in the community donated the matching funds in the first year. We are now raising funds for Year 2.
