Tommie G. Williams, 72, of Greenwood passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, with his wife, Rima, by his side. A Celebration of Life Service was held Sunday, July 6, at North Greenwood Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Phillips officiating. Visitation was from 1-2 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time. Benny Reed McCaleb Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Carroll County.

Tommie Williams Sr., a Greenwood attorney, had a knack for preparation and was dedicated to his craft, colleague Marc Biggers said Thursday.
Biggers emphasized these qualities as he remembered his longtime friend, who died Wednesday at the age of 72 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.
