Freedom Fighters
Stars and stripes fly high above
'Cause soldiers fought for what we love.
They shed their blood, their sweat, their lives,
Leaving homes and frightened wives.
Oh, how I wish I could repay
The ones who lost their lives that way.
They heeded country's urgent call,
And when they fought,
They gave it all.
They take their rest
Below the ground
While I am living,
Safe and sound.
I thank you,
Freedom Fighters brave,
And honor you
For all you gave!
