“Greenwood Mornings” is back.
The radio talk show, which focuses on political issues in Leflore County, will begin airing at 8 a.m. Monday on WGNG 106.3 FM, Host Lee Hall said Saturday.
The show went off the air on July 29 after its previous station, WGRM, replaced Hall, the station’s manager, in what he said was a financial-related decision.
Hall said he spoke with WGNG’s owner, Ruben Hughes, and that Hughes had no problem with bringing back the program, which can get controversial at times.
“I’m very excited about it. People have been asking about it. They said they missed it,” Hall said.
