Earl Blackmon, a Democratic candidate for Mississippi Senate District 24, is among the Aug. 2 primary candidates who haven’t filed their latest campaign finance reports.
The Mississippi Secretary of State’s office published on Thursday a list of those who haven’t submitted the report due July 26.
The report covers July 1 to July 23.
Blackmon, who will face state Sen. David Jordan in the primary, could not be reached for comment this morning.
Blackmon was also late on the previous report, which was due July 8. He turned it in on July 13.
Jordan’s July 26 report shows he has raised $3,600 and spent $1,400 but has more than $9,300 in his campaign fund.
