The Greenwood Police Department has arrested an Indianola man wanted in connection with the alleged Sept. 22 kidnapping of a Greenwood woman and her child.
Gary Eugene Boyles, 32, 544 U.S. 82 West, has been charged with domestic violence in the case.
He remained in the Leflore County Jail Saturday.
According to Greenwood Police Chief Henry Purnell, Boyles will face additional charges of kidnapping and burglary in the case within the next few days.
The kidnapping incident allegedly happened on Sept. 22 at a house on Cherokee Street around 2:45 a.m.
Boyles is accused of assaulting a woman and her child.
