Two dead following Christmas Eve shooting

Four people were shot in Greenwood on Christmas Eve, two of them fatally.
Leflore County Coroner Debra Sanders said she received a call at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday in regard to a shooting incident on the 300 block of East Market Street.

Two men are dead after a drive-by shooting Friday morning at the intersection of U.S. 82 and Sycamore Avenue.
Police Chief Terrence Craft identified Jonathan Shaffer, 33, and Octavious Turner, 27, both of Greenwood, as the victims.

Man is shot at apartment complex, dies

Leflore County Coroner Debra Sanders said Terry Womack, 35, died of his gunshot wounds at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.
