Cox’s election, start are year’s top story

When Kenderick Cox took office as Greenwood’s mayor in July, he didn’t hesitate to make changes.
In June, Cox won the general election against four-term incumbent Carolyn McAdams, who had defeated him twice before. He collected 53% of the vote to McAdams’ 47%.
