Willie Totten’s long, diverse coaching career is now rooted in Georgia.
On Saturday, Totten will face a familiar foe at his newest stop — Fort Valley State in Fort Valley, Georgia.
He is the associate head coach/offensive coordinator for the Wildcats, who host Delta State University at 2 p.m.

Mr. Kinds, 15, died Tuesday, April 15, 2025, in Memphis.
He was a student.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The Rev. Kenneth McClung will officiate at the services.

Winter storm could be ‘devastating’

The Leflore County Board of Supervisors and the Greenwood City Council have declared states of emergency in advance of the impending winter storm, which could bring as much as an inch of ice and additional sleet to the area.
