On June 9 around 5:13 p.m., a man filed a report at the station. He said he was assaulted by a woman on June 7 and had to go to Greenwood Leflore Hospital for treatment.

Services for Steve Normal of Greenwood will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at East Percy Street Church of Christ.
Mr. Normal, 58, died Thursday, June 19, 2025, at his home.
He was a maintenance worker.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Byas Mortuary.
