Que on the Yazoo: Barbecue fans adjust to rain

The smell of barbecue wafted through the air in downtown Greenwood Saturday as people gathered to enjoy tasty food, live music and beautiful weather after the morning rain showers cleared.
Main Street Greenwood’s annual barbecue competition, Que on the Yazoo, brought in 35 cooking teams looking to showcase their skills.

Bulldogs take down GHS

Greenwood High School built an early lead Friday night against Greenville High School and never looked back, with Cary Weaver earning his first win as interim head coach.
The Bulldogs claimed a 37-6 home victory with big outings from Tavares Osborne and Jawuan Gideon.
